A modern pub serving a frequently changing menu, available in our dining room, bar, and outside ledges. It's not fine dining, nor is it trying to be. We cook in a way that we as cooks like to eat, so don’t be afraid to share. If you want to pop in for a burger and a pint, feel free to grab any available space in the bar or outside. We accept bookings for tables of up to six people in the dining room.It can be loud and slightly chaotic; at night it is dark. We turn tables because we need to in order to survive and pay the people that make it work, so please don’t be offended if we ask you to wait a moment for your table. I enjoyed a delightful meal with friends at Shakespeare's restaurant. It has beautiful decor with flowers and neon signs, great choice of menu from brunch options to dinner. I had the chicken, broccoli & mushroom pasta which was delicious and my friends all enjoyed their meals too. Good size portions and tasty. I had the chocolate souffle for dessert (more like a melt-in-the-middle sponge), which was served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a wipe of chocolate fudge scattered with fresh berries and a dusting of icing sugar....fabulous! We will definitely return to Shakespeares as the staff are all very helpful and friendly.
