We had a wonderful special occasion dinner at Julii. Got a regular table for 2 but it was located in the bar area, so the bartender doubled as working the bar and providing our table service. While he was gracious and easy with us, that double duty led to a couple delays requiring one of the floor managers could step in. Our food was delightful, tasty, well prepared, and presented with some artistry. Others were have special events that night as well, which brings out a burning"sparkler" to their table for their celebration. While visually entertaining, the sparklers spread a foul, burnt sulphur odor across the restaurant. That odor does not go well with any fine meal or wine, at least for us. Perhaps the restaurant will consider dropping those sparklers for a couple real candles. That same celebratory message would come with less sulphur. Not to worry though, we'll come back for a really nice meal.

I went there for a birthday dinner with my son, and we sat near the bar area. We waited for some time, looking over the menu, as it was both of our first times visiting. After a while, the manager came by and asked if anyone had attended to our table. We said not yet, and he immediately apologized. By that point, we already knew we wanted the crab dip, which we had seen online, so we ordered that along with calamari. Both dishes came out and tasted amazing. However, the table seated behind us had a server who introduced himself, while we had not yet been approached by anyone. I ended up ordering through the manager, who helped us throughout the meal, refilling our glasses, bringing extra sauces, etc. I did ask a young lady for extra sauce when she brought our food. She said okay but ended up bringing the food to the table behind us. I got her attention again, and she apologized, but after that, I didn’t see her again. I even helped by holding up the ramekin through the window, hoping she understood, but she never came back. Despite this, I would visit again and give it another chance, hoping it was just a case of being short-staffed. I loved the view, especially how close it was to the water, and the happy hour prices were very reasonable. My only wish is that we had been treated and served as attentively as the tables around us. Again, Ken made my visit great—he was apologetic, helpful, and even suggested off-menu items to my son.

Superb dining experience with excellent input from the wait staff. Dined at lunch on a Federal holiday so the number of customers was unusually small -- on the other hand, it was quiet and made for easy conversation. The soup (French onion) and sandwich combo was a real bargain. This was my fourth time, including both lunch and dinner. so Josephine is clearly a favorite desintation.

This was a celebration dinner. Staff was patient as we chatted and caught up with one another. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful.

we had an afternoon date experiencing the Coffee flights. It was great. Service is great. The experience was great. It was awesome to try new ways of experiencing coffee.
