The Black Penny Covent Garden is a unique cosy café, with bare brick walls, only a stones throw away from Covent Garden. Gourmet brunch is at the heart of what The Black Penny is famous for. Signature dishes include 'The Hunter' & 'The Gatherer', which is our take on the full English breakfast. Other signature dishes include 'Wild Mushroom Polenta Hash', 'Salt Beef' and 'Crispy Duck' hashes (try pairing with some of our fine wines and Penny cocktails). If you fancy something sweet try 'The Brioche French Toast'. Speciality coffee created at the hands of the skilled baristas is what keeps regulars coming back for their daily caffeine fix. In the mornings through lunch you can expect The Black Penny to be a popular go to café.     I recently had the pleasure of dining at TABXTAB, and it exceeded all my expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavor and freshness. I had the Prosciutto Crudo Toast. The flavor is unbelievable, my new favorite! My friend has the pancake, also amazing. Their coffee is top-notch—great variety, very balanced, great latte art. Perfect for midday treat. What truly sets TABXTAB apart, though, is the passionate and friendly staff. They go above and beyond to make you feel welcome and ensure you have a wonderful experience. I highly recommend TABXTAB to anyone looking for a great dining/coffee experience!

    Love this place, 22 years ago I worked in Shaftesbury Avenue and used to come to Cafe Boheme after work for dinner and drinks. It was one of our favorite places. We felt transported to France. A little hide away with great food and service. I enjoyed many dinners and some breakfasts after sleeping over in the office after a late night ! Last night I returned for the first time in 15 years for dinner before see MJ in the Prince Edward Theatre opposite with friends old and newer. We had a gorgeous table tucked away in the corner. Great service, delicious food I had the snails and Oysters both were amazing. Fab red wine to go with. It brought back so many happy memories and stories of the old days. But created new memories. Thanks for a wonderful evening, great food and service.
