The Black Penny Covent Garden is a unique cosy café, with bare brick walls, only a stones throw away from Covent Garden. Gourmet brunch is at the heart of what The Black Penny is famous for. Signature dishes include 'The Hunter' & 'The Gatherer', which is our take on the full English breakfast. In the heart of London’s Soho, Cafe Boheme has been serving French classics for over three decades. Offering an all-day menu centred around French favourites, including confit duck, steak frites and escargots – all dishes are based on traditional recipes. The brasserie is inspired by the 19th-century poets who used to meet on Old Compton Street and features art-lined walls, a brass bar and mosaic tiled floor. Head outside and dine al fresco for views across Soho or join us at the bar everyday from 3pm for live jazz.

    Love this place, 22 years ago I worked in Shaftesbury Avenue and used to come to Cafe Boheme after work for dinner and drinks. It was one of our favorite places. We felt transported to France. A little hide away with great food and service. I enjoyed many dinners and some breakfasts after sleeping over in the office after a late night ! Last night I returned for the first time in 15 years for dinner before see MJ in the Prince Edward Theatre opposite with friends old and newer. We had a gorgeous table tucked away in the corner. Great service, delicious food I had the snails and Oysters both were amazing. Fab red wine to go with. It brought back so many happy memories and stories of the old days. But created new memories. Thanks for a wonderful evening, great food and service.

    We went on a Sunday, it was empty! Not their fault of course but did change the atmosphere a bit. As we were the only ones there for the majority of the time. Food was lovely, a LOT of food, so go hungry !! Staff were helpful and friendly and they all sang happy birthday to me which was nice. I think the value is good at £60 pp for 3 courses and champagne.
