Always a nice meal here. Went this time to try brunch, and while there were many buffet selections that my seatmates enjoyed I stuck to an entree on the regular brunch menu. Our collective sadness on the food is that a few things were a bit salty and there were definitely not enough vegetables. My Cajun Hash, which was supposed to have tri-colored bell peppers, barely had any (I saw one sliver of green pepper), same with another seatmate who ordered the same dish. The couple across from us said there was salad and green beans as the only veggie choices on the buffet - though they did immensely enjoy the seafood (shrimp and crab legs). I always enjoy the Louisiana spice, seatmates found some things too spicy. Also a two-piece jazz ensemble playing added to the ambiance, which was nice, though the truly high ceilings makes the noise level inside a bit loud and hard to hear your tablemates. No worries, I'll still return another time.

They couldn't serve the seafood boil because they had ran out of sauce. The stuffed shrimp was great and the jambalaya pasta was good too. The oysters was good but small. Also drinks were good but a little overpriced. Overall would still come back. Valet was only $8 which is cheap for Houston. Very small parking available. The fired catfish is really good the spaghetti was average. The jalapeno biscuits were amazing.

The best steak, the best fish, everything simply perfect!

Food was great...hot and flavorful. Waitress was very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu.
