We used to go there all the time and stopped going about 8-9 months ago. Last time we were there the bartender was rude…. So we stopped going. We decided to give it another try, the bar area is very nice….and ….We had a great time, cocktails were great and portions were good size and bartenders were exceptional!!! Lawrence was a top notch server with great recommendations. His restaurant experience level was on full display.

It was a good dinner. I got the escargots, it was really tasty and it was great it came with a piece of bread 🥖. Next I got the short ribs, it was a little bit too salty for me, the gratin dauphinois and the mushrooms were great. For the dessert I got the mousse au chocolat it was excellent but a little bit heavy for my stomach. The restaurant is quite dark and the others tables were too close, you can easily follow discussions from others tables.

Acre never disappoints. This was no exception. There was a delay in the kitchen and food was taking longer than usual to come out. We barely noticed because we were with old friends catching up. But the manager came out and apologized and brought us a free appetizer and comped another round of drinks, so we were all good!

Excellent food and service. Thanks to the chef, Micky and our waiter Leandro. Everything was superb. Probably top restaurants here in Palo Alto
