We first curate the wine list which includes 65+ wines by the glass and then design a food menu that specifically complements the wine. The kitchen is led by Executive Chef Julian Silvera who spent his early culinary career in restaurants in his native NYC. The service was excellent, the food very delicious, the wine selection (we got a bottle of Prisoner Cab) reasonable. We come every once in a while. It is a bit expensive but well worth it. One of us had the garlic soup and he loved it, two of us split the butter leaf salad and the sausage appetizer. then we had 2 orders of the classic weiner schnitzel One of us alwaus get s the vanilla soufflé for dessert and one of us got the chocolate lava cake. Both are definitely winners. All in all a wonderful evening.

I am so excited for Downtown San Jose after dining at Eos & Nyx. This restaurant is top notch and I cannot wait to go back. It is in the old moving theatre building and it just gave the whole corner new life! The decor is warm and inviting while also being contemporary. The service was amazing. We never had a dirty plate or napkin on our table for more than five minutes. The food? The food is the best I've had in the South Bay since Alexanders in Cupertino 15 years ago. My husband had the NY Strip and I had the pork chop. Both were 5 stars. Their cocktails were the best we've had in a while as well. The couple next to us ordered a pasta dish and a side of their mushrooms and cleaned their plates as well. The amuse bouche, pallet cleanser and dessert samples were a delightful surprise. The only slight negative was how loud it is inside. I love having music but it made it hard to hear the servers. Maybe turn it down a notch. We are already planning when we can go back!

We used to go there all the time and stopped going about 8-9 months ago. Last time we were there the bartender was rude…. So we stopped going. We decided to give it another try, the bar area is very nice….and ….We had a great time, cocktails were great and portions were good size and bartenders were exceptional!!! If you haven’t been in awhile go…
