Situated on level 33 of The Shard, Hutong at The Shard serves the fascinating and diverse cuisines of Northern China and is based on the much-loved restaurant of the same name in Hong Kong. Hutong at The Shard’s cuisine takes its inspiration from the dishes served in the imperial palaces of what was then Peking. Since the establishment of our first restaurant in 2003, Imperial Treasure Restaurant Group has won the hearts of gourmands and casual diners alike. At last another decent Chinese restaurant in SE London, there are so few. Very good food, clean, fresh, unadulterated with good ingredients. Rapid and effective service. Very good value. Some very good wines available although we did not drink them. Boring and sterile surroundings though, although convenient location wise. Otherwise recommended.
