O-Ku Sushi in DC is a fantastic spot for fresh, high-quality sushi with a stylish ambiance. The fish is incredibly fresh, and the creative rolls and nigiri are expertly prepared. We have eaten in and ordered take out meals several times from FF and have enjoyed all of them. We made reservations for Valentine's Day dinner. There was a delay in getting our food because it was so busy, but our server, Douglas, acknowledged and apologized for the delay and kept informing us of the status of our meals (many restaurants do not do this, so it was much appreciated). My husband's meal was fine, but the pasta in my entree was not cooked properly. I ate less than half of my meal. We brought this to the attention of the manager. She agreed with our comments and said she would inform the kitchen. She offered to bring another entree, but we declined because it was so late. She stated she would remove the charge for the pasta meal from our bill and offered a free desert, which we accepted and took home with us. This incident will not deter us from eating at FF again because their meals have always been good before and the service was great. It was also refreshing to eat at a restaurant with so much integrity. The management promptly provided several options to remediate the issue. This attention to customer service is not always seen in restaurants, but we saw it at FF and we really appreciated it.

Always a great experience. It’s laid back. The staff are attentive. The drinks are spot on. The food is excellent.

This is such a hidden gem! Great small plates and drinks, the ambiance is so cool

First time going here & the hidden door wouldn’t open with the jukebox. We got seated pretty quickly but it took about an hour to get a drink here. Ambiance was lovely & noise was just loud enough to not hear other people’s conversations. I would try it again
