The food was great and our server maya was awesome, however we hated the tvs all over the restaurant. It really detracts from the ambiance and the atmosphere of the experience. It would be fine to have the tvs just at the bar but there is no need for them all over the restaurant, really detracts from it being a top notch dining experience. Highlights: red snapper entree, beef Wellington bites, tuna nachos, the cocktails

If you're looking for a hidden gem in Royal Oak, Johnny’s Speakeasy is it! From the moment you walk in (after finding the entrance, which adds to the fun), you’re transported back in time. The vibe is cozy and intimate, with dim lighting, vintage decor, and a cool, laid-back atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re in on a secret. The cocktails? Phenomenal. The bartenders really know their craft, and every drink is made with precision and top-quality ingredients. I had an old fashioned that was probably the best I’ve ever had—smooth, balanced, and packed with flavor. If you’re not sure what to order, just tell them what you like, and they’ll whip up something amazing. The food was just as impressive. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the menu—everything was fresh, flavorful, and plated beautifully. Service was spot on—friendly, attentive, but never overbearing. They really make you feel welcome, and you can tell they love what they do. Overall, Johnny’s Speakeasy is a must-visit. Whether you’re looking for a unique date night spot or just want to grab some next-level drinks with friends, this place delivers. Just make sure to book a reservation ahead of time because it fills up fast. I’ll definitely be back!

Our experience, at Three Cats, was barely short of perfection. I particularly would point out the Mushroom Bisque and the Champagne Chicken, but everything on their menu was delicious. The ONLY criticism I had was the limited wine list offering. But the Sauvignon Blanc was as superb as the meal. The service was excellent, as well. A hostess even offered to take a Valentines photo for the couple seated next to us. All and all, a delightful experience!

Once again it was such a great dining experience. The staff especially our server engaged and gave us great recommendations for starters and entrees.

I took my wife here for her birthday and we had a terrific meal. She enjoyed the Colorado lamb chops and I had a perfectly cooked 8 oz filet. Our server, Leslie, made sure we were taken care of throughout the meal. Dessert was also delicious.
