The Highlight Room’s real showstopper is the spectacular view of the city through a glass wall that spans the entire width of the room and folds back to allow access to the outdoor terrace. From there, guests can lift a cocktail to the expansive views — north to the Empire State Building, south to the Freedom Tower. A fun and beautiful old French bistro look with surprisingly roomy dining rooms. You are not jammed close to other dinners which we appreciated. Moules were truly excellent, modestly customized for us and full of fresh herbs. Very plump and delicious. The roasted carrots could be a meal in their own, a well conceived dish with ricotta and herbs. Salmon was delightful with peas asparagus and other fresh veggies, very summery though it is winter now. Have looked at Juliette from the outside many times and walked on, but am so glad I finally gave it a chance, it’s a winner (and excellent hardworking staff too! )

We always have a great time at Bar Contra. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Small plates from wild air are delicious and the cocktails are creative and there is something for every one. Theo is the best! We always try to sit at the bar when him and his colleague are there, usually on Fridays. Will be coming back repeatedly
