A little history on our namesake: The Linwood Hotel: John B. Pullis established the Linwood Hotel in about 1888. Located on the Southeast corner of South Clinton Avenue and Linden Place, the Linwood Hotel temporarily housed WW1 Navy flyers from the Bay Shore Aero Station while their barracks were being constructed. The Linwood was destroyed by fire on October 11, 1925.

We stay true to Italy's culinary standards to retain the natural freshness and flavors of our dishes, which makes us one of the ONLY restaurants in the US to never incorporate artificial flavorings, colorings, or preservatives, nor do we use corn syrups in any of our beverages. We take pride in guaranteeing that none of our offerings contain GMO fruits, vegetables, or processed seed oils. Our olive oil, frying oil, flour, and sauce are all imported from Italy, while our meat, seafood and produce are sourced locally. We strive to replicate the culinary experiences that we find when we visit the Amalfi Coast. Our hometown, Vico Equense, is referred to as the “Gateway to the Amalfi Coast” and the "Food Capital of Italy".     Great experience! Went on a Thursday night. Super romantic and cozy. Chicken parm & olive oil cake was great. I never eat veal and opted for the Milanese. Not the best idea but it was still good just not my thing. Portions were generous. Our server Rachel was 10/10. She was so sweet and kind. Our drinks were perfect. Would def recommend to anyone!

    Great cocktails here. Nick and his staff are very welcoming, providing excellent service. This is my second time here and will definitely return again. Great date spot or ladies night.

    Our table was ready, been here a few times. Need more vegetarian pasta options. Had the duck special which was very good. Nice cocktail list. Apple crostata was average. Had a cozy date night dinner in a neighborhood gem.

    Great as always, superb at the bar service and dining, Sarah the General Manager is second to none always insuring that everything is perfect. Tonight the salmon was my choice and Barbara chose the mushrooms stuffed with crab both a culinary delight. Try the Linwood we are sure you will certainly enjoy it as we do. Five Stars

    This place is my new favorite spot. I love the atmosphere and the food. Wait staff is always excellent. I highly recommend it. Get the spicy rigatoni ala vodka
