We weren't sure what to expect, but chose this restaurant on the basis of it's menu, which we viewed online. We waited about 5 minutes for our table, but happily spent it at the great bookstore in the building. Our server Liam was courteous, fun and very attentive. The place was quite full so we were glad we had reserved in advance. The vibe was trendy and comfortable, and the food ( trout, beef cheek, pizza, beer salad,peanut butter pie) was 👌👌. We absolutely will come again.

Amazing food, drinks and location! Service was friendly and fast. We were there for Taylor Swift on Nov. 23 and they were decorated for her and for Christmas. The whole place was incredible! Anytime we are in Toronto, it’s a must!

What a fantastic experience at the newly opened National in Toronto. We celebrated my wife's birthday. The food was great. For vegetarians, Poke and Falafel Bowl is a must try. I'm blanking out on our server's name, but she was just awesome (the spectacle girl haha server ID 5552). Made the right suggestions, did not rush us into ordering and even got a complimentary treat for her birthday celebration. Thank you! Later in the night we enjoyed a couple of games at the bowling lane. A perfect birthday night thanks to everyone at National. Cheers!

Everyone was warm and attentive and being that we were celebrating a birthday, our server delivered something special to commemorate the event! A really outstanding meal through and through. In fact, we discussed over dinner that fantastic dining experiences like you are always sure to have at The Ace are rare in Toronto these days. Happy to have been able to celebrate at The Ace, and already looking forward to being back.

The staff there is amazing very friendly and accommodating. Love The Restaurant. I have friends in the east side and west side of Toronto. This is often our meeting place and we love it. They let us sit in yak and enjoy ourselves without feeling pressured or rushed out of the restaurant. The food is delicious. My rating is based on what I ordered, it had a lovely presentation and was served hot, just not to my taste.  thought I’d try something new won’t order that again. The rest of my party had the sandwich trio and everyone loved it.
