Guests are encouraged to order a themed trio of dishes, larger than tapas and smaller than big plates, to better experience the menu and recreate the familial bonhomie we associate with supper at grandma’s (when you were urged to try a bite of everything!). Recommended wine pairings are served in collections to mirror the entree trios. We had to wait for our table despite making a reservation and ended up taking the bar seats. However, we had a lovely bar experience. The bartenders are welcoming and are quickly able to provide help with the menu. We love the idea that you can get 3 sample portioned entrees to make up a meal. We did the fox and knife collection with the wine pairing for that collection, and then did a la carte 1 sampler from the other 3 collections (lollipop lamb, pumpkin ravioli and shrimp and grits). Everything was delicious and flavorful. Dessert was the rhubarb pie - buttery, flaky, sweet and tart! Chef’s kiss!

This restaurant & bar is probably the most upscale in Arlington without any “stuffy” feeling/vibe. Darker lighting (with small table lights to see menu) makes for a nice ambience. I have been here several times for lunch and dinner. My favs are the chicken sausage flatbread, Bourbon steak tips, Bolognese, beet salad. The burger beef is high quality and cooked perfectly but tends to lack flavor (tried twice); a simple touch of salt and pepper would make it tastier. Some Thursdays they have live jazz. Cocktails are made well. Service has always been super — attentive and friendly. Will continue to go back a couple times a month.
