Pier 22 is a place you can go for lunch, a light bite , happy hour , or a full dinner and feel that you will eat something very special. As a person who is celiac, I appreciate the wonderful fresh crusty warm, gluten-free bread served on sandwiches or with your meal. Very few restaurants around the Bradenton, Sarasota area offer fresh baked bread that enhances everything you eat. That is a luxury item to someone who can’t  eat regular bread. The menu is filled with a delightful plethora of gf choices . The cocktails are made with care and the staff treats their guests like family! A place that bears repeating. The only place I can wait to choose what I will eat when I am seated rather than having to research ahead of time if I can eat anything before I go,

Nancy was an outstanding, attentive server. My husband had shrimp and scallops pasta that was so yummy and flavorful. I had the pork chops. They were seasoned nicely but they were dry from being overcooked. There were some wonderful choices on the menu so we will certainly be back.

Always a great time here We bought our dog out for a late 3rd birthday dinner, she was a little people shy even though everyone wants to come say hi Was a little chilly on the patio However Skylar our server was very acommodating, had Jake and a few others come out to get the outdoor heater working. My hubby’s favorite the meatloaf never disappoints Ravyn enjoyed her doggie burger’s And my filet was perfectly cooked. As chilly as it was today the bacon maple is always a good finale. Will have visitors in town in a couple of weeks this is one of our favorite places to bring our guests.

We were able to sit before our reservation time and in a corner booth. Our dining experience was very pleasant and the waiter was flexible. Our small plates and entrees arrived at the same time by request. The Raw Oysters from Prince Eduard Island were perfect as well as the Mushroom Fricassee we choose to go with the delicious 8 oz Filet Mignon. Do not miss the Dirt Pie Mousse with a shot of expresso to finish the evening. I will be bringing my friends
