1913 Restaurant & Bar is no ordinary restaurant. Named for the founding year of the City of Hope, 1913 is a place where every plate is thoughtfully curated to nourish one’s body, heart, spirit, and soul. Executive Chef Christian Eggerling and his diverse team of culinary talent make healthy food fun, sometimes fancy (because we all deserve it), but never boring. Fresh wild-caught seafood, locally sourced meat, garden-harvested vegetables, decadent desserts, curated wine list and craft cocktail program make 1913 the ideal destination for any occasion.     This dining experience at 71Above was excellent, the three course meal was incredible, from my first course the farm salad, to my second course the ribeye steak and lastly my third course the mango rice pudding. The food was amazing, the view of overlooking downtown LA from the 71st floor just added to the ambiance; as well as our amazing waiter making it an overall excellent experience. I highly recommend 71Above!!!!

    Everything was amazing! Cocktail - Beekeeper was delicious. I need a pitcher of this! Food - Encrusted Salmon Salad was excellent! Dessert - bread pudding was amazing Service was excellent Can’t wait to come back!!!

    Dropped in for Sunday Dinner and was not disappointed. My wife and I loved everything we ordered: Naan & Dips to start, chili-sichuan basted bass, beef short rib noodles and for dessert the chocolate-honey & passion brownie sundae. Great mix of wonderful ingredients presented beautifully.

    What a beautiful restaurant and hotel! Our server, Rachel, was so sweet. The food was delicious! The restaurant didn't seem that busy, but it did take a bit longer than expected for the food to arrive. Otherwise, it was amazing! We will definitely go back!
