A culinary adventure and exciting mystery at Flagstaff House! They helped make the birthday celebration very memorable for us and included a lovely personalized note and birthday wishes. The food was incredible and paired exceptionally well with the wine. There was even a crafty “blind wine tasting” that was thrilling to try to guess the wine. The four stars out of five was simply because there were a few items that we generally don’t eat on a regular basis that couldn’t be modified out of the chef’s tasting menu. However, It’s good to try new things and we loved the overall experience.

Burgers were literally rare when we ordered medium and fries were overly salty. Brussels and wings were tasty as were cocktails. Trivia was very fun!

The trout was perfect, service was top notch and the window seat was warm and cozy.

A Memorable Experience at Guard and Grace From the moment we walked through the door, Guard and Grace exceeded all expectations. The food was exceptional, the ambiance was perfect, and the service was nothing short of stellar. A special thank you to Pedro and Jennie at the host stand for greeting us with such warmth and making us feel immediately at home. Our server, Samantha B., truly went above and beyond to ensure that our dining experience was seamless and enjoyable. This visit was a celebration of a special family occasion, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to share such a moment with our loved ones. The attention to detail and genuine care from the staff made the evening unforgettable. While it’s not uncommon for Michelin-caliber restaurants to have General Managers and chefs visit tables, the personal touch from Justyn, the General Manager, was particularly meaningful. His kind words and thoughtful gesture of a complimentary appetizer made the evening even more special, especially as we celebrated my mom’s birthday. The music selection, featuring nostalgic 1980s Pop Classics and Top 40s hits, added to the positive, vibrant atmosphere, making the experience feel all the more memorable. I was a little disappointed in the wine/cocktail parings as I am not a lover of dark spirits which our menu included. The food, service and presentation were outstanding!
