Bluestone is a Chicago-style restaurant in Evanston that offers homestyle cooking in a warm and welcoming environment. Owner John, whose obsession with golf led to the more than 250 pin flags decorating the restaurant, opened Bluestone after transitioning from commercial film production. The new brunch at Tala House is fantastic. We had the Halloumi to start and it was the perfect sharing size and tasted great. We then had the Dill Omelet and Egg Sandwich, both of which were fantastic. The coffee was perfect and the service was excellent. The experience you get at the price point of Tala’s menu can’t be found anywhere else here in Chicago. Will definitely be back for brunch again very soon!

This is our go-to place when attending events at North Shore Center for the Performing Arts and it doesn't disappoint. Because we waited too late to book a table at our preferred time, we came a bit earlier and ate at the bar. Worked out great and the bartender was very attentive. Had the ribs for the first time and they were delicious; apparently the BBQ sauce is made in-house.

All Meal Prep was an excellent experience. Food was good and the service was exceptional. The staff was so hospitable and friendly and made our birthday celebration so memorable. They have parking in the back and easy accessibility from the parking lot into the restaurant. (This was hugely appreciated as one person in our group had easy accessibility to the restaurant with a walker.) Great ambiance and very personable staff!
