The Trident Restaurant is located "on the water" in historic Sausalito, CAOur heated outdoor decks provide a sensational dining experience with spectacular San Francisco bay views. Having recently celebrated its 50th Anniversary on Union Street, Perry’s remains an enormously popular San Francisco institution. Perry Butler initially opened Perry’s in 1969, bringing to Union Street the hustle and bustle of the neighborhood saloons of New York’s Upper East Side. The name “Sessions” comes from the British term “session beers”. During WWI in England, munitions workers had long breaks often taken at the pub where they enjoyed pints of ale with lunch and lively conversation.     The separate bar located across a brick enclosed pathway was quaint and the drinks were done well. The reservation was right on time and service was really nice. Our waitress was a gem, and checked in just enough. The meals (4) total, were all as ordered, came out nicely timed (following starters and salads/soups), and prepared/plated well. Definitely a spot to recommend and return to.

    Our first time here did not disappoint 🤩 Thankfully because we had made a reservation, the server was kind enough to relocate us to have a table with a Union Square/Rotunda view,. Which completely elevated our experience. We ordered a creamy lobster bisque that came in a vey aesthetic bowl. The tuna tartare was very fresh & the kampachi crudo special, was a great recommendation from our server Charlie. We shared the Seafood fettuccini that exceeded my expectations & the Dungeness crab melt was full of savory richness in every bite. We cannot wait to come back again & try more items from the menu!
