Wonderful service Didn’t feel rushed at all Wonderful food and cocktails!

The restaurant is cozy and welcoming, with a partially open kitchen. The attention to detail and innovation they put into their food is just as elevated as Chef Rucker’s Rivertwice. Every bite was delicious and presented simply, highlighting the gorgeousness of the dish. If I had to pick, the swordfish belly tartare and fried whole bass were favorites. The drinks were creative and strong, with perfectly clear ice cubes! We were so full but had to have the desserts, which as always, were light and perfect, simultaneously sophisticated and comforting. The only downside is we couldn’t possibly try everything, but we can’t wait to go back! Seating at the raw bar is a great vantage point and also cozy, casual and intimate. The staff were so knowledgeable, friendly and attentive, clearly well trained, excited to know us and welcoming. Bravo Chef!

The food and service were great! I would have liked if the waiter slowed down a bit when telling us about the specials as none of us at the table really understood him

White Dog Cafe is fabulous for a delicious breakfast/lunch meet up with friends. We have been here several times and this was the best so far. Our waiter was extremely helpful and courteous to our friend who is somewhat handicapped. The mushroom soup is absolutely delicious. They did not rush us even though it got very crowded as the afternoon wore on. I love the ambiance here, too. Very comfortable seating.

Everything about our Akwaaba experience was delightful! From the warm inviting space to the warm welcome at the door, to the thoughtful tea selection and creative food items. We could not have enjoyed ourselves more! Can’t wait to return!
