The District GastroBar has an innovative design that starts in the restaurant's entrance, a well ­curated modern speak easy with a nostalgic vintage ambiance and an eclectic array of "one ­off" pieces of Prohibition and 1940 era inspired artwork. Walk past the restaurants front door, guests encounter a antique bronze tin ceiling wrapped around historic 1900 brick, custom vintage lighting, but only the adventurous will discover all that The District GastroBar has to offer. With a distinct dining room, grandiose bar layout, an open air patio and a women’s bathroom complete with a salon inspired feel and antique perfume bottles. The cuisine, much like the design, is intended to set a new course.     Great location, great food, great service, and great ambience! The house made focaccia was especially good with the citrus butter. The seasoning on the crisp bread was delicious. The shrimp and tomato bucatini was a great dish made with fresh pasta. The beef angus burger was enjoyable. The Winter Park Vice is a good mocktail and the Pineapple Flip Whip was a sweet, frothy alcoholic drink. The chocolate decadence is a delicious dessert. The decor is modern, elegant and has a touch to Winter Park history. I can’t wait to go back and try other dishes.

    We had a wonderful evening at this restaurant during our Valentine's Day celebration. Our reservation was for 7 PM, and we were seated promptly and professionally. The goat cheese appetizer, along with the duck and brownie lava cake, received a perfect 10/10. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere on the top deck, and the cocktails were exceptionally well made. Overall, our experience was delightful, as we felt that the service, food, and ambience were all excellent. We definitely plan to return soon to try more menu items. I highly recommend this location; it offers great value for the experience.
