It all began with a love story and a dream. Linwood, a chef, and Ellen, a reporter, met 36 years ago in a restaurant of course! They married and began to envision that someday they would open a restaurant of their own. The restaurant’s first business plan was written at their dining room table on an electric typewriter. In 1988 Linwoods opened its doors, and it has been a labour of love for more than thirty years. Linwoods’ cuisine consists of the freshest ingredients, and inventive preparation. Our service is warm and attentive. We have developed a reputation for consistency an attention to detail. These qualities are key to our catering business as well. Our team has worked hard to connect to our community, and we value our customers. These values have been central to Ellen and Linwood’s vision, and we hope are felt by our customers each day.

We will do the rest!Outdoor seating is currently available but not guaranteed. In the event of inclement weather, incoming reservations will be seated on a first come - first serve basis. Tables currently sitting will be allowed to move to another table if possible, but tables themselves cannot be moved under any circumstance.     Since moving to Pennsylvania several years ago, we hadn’t been to the Glendon Grill so because we were in the area today we decided to make a reservation. When our plans changed, we were fortunate to be able to move our reservation up by several hours. We arrived and we’re quickly seatedand we’re met with an excellent white staff. Everyone was friendly..mand the menu had many options ! The corn crab soup is the best as is the kale salad! My wife had the Salmon and I had the BBQ braised beef. Both were excellent. Overall an excellent experience and wort the 70 mile drive!

    This was the location for our monthly Ladies Lunch for four high school friends traveling from Annapolis and Baltimore suburbs. We are now 50 years old. Excellent cocktail menu, broad menu to accommodate everyone’s needs (including gluten-free and vegan options), and superb service. Exactly what we needed for a great time.

    I ate here last night for my 21st birthday, and the food and drinks were great, and service was exceptional. Our waitress, Molly, was absolutely amazing. In addition to the caring service she went above and beyond to give me a pep talk and connect to me and my family. I appreciated it so very much.
