Soby’s New South Cuisine is an eclectic blend of contemporary continental cuisine infused with traditional Southern ingredients, transforming old favorites into something fresh and new. The restaurant is located in the heart of downtown Greenville, in a renovated cotton mill built in the 1800s. Draper Purveying Company is downtown Greenville's newest restaurant concept and weekend entertainment destination location! Now open under the direction of Executive Chef Patrick Phillips, with a menu designed to satisfy a wide range of tastes, Draper is serving up contemporary American style comfort food with a unique twist for dinner, lunch, brunch and a special happy hour and late night bites menu. Specialty shared plates include crispy confit chicken wings, warm burrata with cherry tomatoes and garlic confit, coffee-rubbed tenderloin. Larger dinner plates include a special featured version of shrimp and grits, roasted salmon with pimento cheese risotto and lemon beurre blanc and chicken-fried chicken. Also serving lunch and brunch on weekends, unique offerings will include salads and a variety of build-your-own bowls, in addition to classic brunch staples like egg white omelets and biscuits benedict. Our bar menu boasts 16 beer taps and eight craft cocktail and wines on tap.

    Fried flounder feature was delicious! Southern style orzo was creamy and was also very good. The pinecone dessert was amazing and looked incredible.

    This was unexpectedly, an absolutely fabulous evening. From the greeting to the seating to the serving, to the dining, everything went smoothly. Alexis, our server was somebody I would like to know anytime! She is an achiever, personable, and highly professional… as well as interested in us and who we were.! And then the food…all three of us had outstanding results with the choices we had taken from a quite extensive menu. Everything was beautifully prepared and served, but there were really creative, unexpected results from the chef to make these choices exceptional. We were all so surprised and grateful. Astute Alexis, our delightful server picked up on this and invited the young chef, John to come out to visit with us. Having been experienced myself and well traveled with wonderful dining opportunities, I believe that if he does not lose this optimism and willingness to take chances on his creative but knowledgeable skills,he is going to be very well-known someday.I almost asked for an autograph! He was so personable he persuaded us to have a dessert we hadn’t planned on, and it was way beyond anything we had dreamed of. We were so thankful that we had chosen this place to celebrate the birthday of one of us. Bravo.

    We were the first guests upon opening and the team was very accommodating while opening. We had a very nice lunch on the patio with delicious tapas.
