During the fall off-season, the Cosmopolitan is open Wednesday - Sunday for indoor and outdoor dining plus takeout. Outdoor dining is weather permitting.Happy Hour is Wednesday - Sunday 4-5pm in the bar area and lobby. The restaurant also offers private dining in the wine cellar for special events.Chad Scothorn, Owner and Executive Chef, has received national attention and praise for his original cuisine. Truly authentic, all menu items are made entirely from scratch, including the house baked bread, sauces, desserts, and even the ice creams. Cosmopolitan offers an extensive wine list with local, domestic and international wines, and delicious craft cocktails.

    Good food and perfect location in town close to gondola. Pro tip is to do the happy hour in the bar. Amazing prices for telluride and good energy.

    This was our first trip to Telluride/Mountain Village in Colorado. Our reservations were at 6 pm and we were the first to arrive. Sebastian was our server and he was very tentative to our questions and taking our orders. We had a bottle of the Cabernet Sauvignon - Bruce - from California. The wine was outstanding and was suggested by the bartender as a replacement for the bottle we originally ordered. He was spot on and enjoyed it greatly. My daughter and I ordered Elk Bolognese and it was outstanding! My husband and the Smash Burger and he was very satisfied with his choice. As other reviews state- the View from this restaurant is awesome!

    The service and ambiance were top-notch and by far the reason I would go again. Traverse was a fantastic waiter and made our anniversary special! My wife had the filet mignon, and I had the New York strip. We both thought our steaks were great, and the grilled garlic cloves paired nicely. Additionally, I highly recommend you get the bread as a starter. The bread and the butter were sensational.
