The Grain House Restaurant is located on the picturesque 10-acre estate of the Olde Mill Inn in Basking Ridge, NJ. The Grain House structure was originally built as a barn in the 1760’s and was used to store grain for American Revolutionary soldiers. The barn was later moved to its current location and opened as a restaurant in the 1930’s. Today, the Grain House is a renowned restaurant in North/Central New Jersey, with a comfortable, casual ambiance. Wonderful experience to celebrate Thanksgiving. Just did the Thanksgiving prix fixe menu which was a great value. Cannot wait to go back to try the rest of the menu. Sushi was amazing. Ravioli even better. Everyone from the hostesses to the maître ď to our waiter and the food runners and bussers were far far above our expectations. Highly recommend this restaurant and as I said I cannot wait to go back!

Warm welcome by the owner and staff, impeccable service throughout and excellent food! This was my second visit and I enjoyed even more. The menu is interesting and creative including the desserts. My pork chop was amazing as well as the pistachio creme brûlée. The rest of my party also loved their choices. Will definitely become a regular here.
