Xiquet (chee-KETT) by Chef Danny Lledó features a sought-after tasting menu showcasing the finest products from around the world served with warm, Mediterranean hospitality. Known as one of the best fine dining restaurants in Washington DC for its modern Spanish cuisine, Xiquet has held a MICHELIN Star since 2021 and earned MICHELIN’s Sommelier of the Year Award in 2022. In the same year, AAA honored Xiquet with the travel authority’s highest rating, making it the only Five Diamond restaurant currently in the city.     The overall extent was outstanding! The food was superb. The service was excellent. The ambiance was great. The only thing that tarnished the visit was trash cans along the alley to enter the restaurant and a few rats scurrying around them.

    This last meal was quite possibly the best I have experienced at Xiquet yet. Our table loved the perfectly cooked partridge and amazing sauce on the sea bass. The festive decorations, kind staff and Spanish kings cake for dessert made for a cozy holiday evening. We are already looking forward to more celebrations at Xiquet next year.

    El Taller provides a great way to try Michelin level quality and style at a great price point. The menu is perfect at presenting the right things and not over listing items. This is how you know there is dedication to each dish.

    I’ve eaten here multiple times and the food is always excellent. The service is wonderful, professional, and attentive. But the food is stand out! It’s priced as you would expect a high-end restaurant in DC. I would recommend it to anyone. Beautiful restaurant decor as well. Great spot for lunch. Enjoy.

    This place is the place to be. Point,blank, period. From the food to the drinks to the view. They also have exceptional customer service which is an A+ in my book. This girl loves Upstairs at The Morrow and will visit every chance I get.🥂
