Introducing Cornus, a rooftop space in Belgravia, the second restaurant from David O’Connor and Joe Mercer-Nairne of the acclaimed Chelsea restaurant, Medlar. Chef Gary Foulkes will lead the kitchen, joining from the Michelin-starred Angler to offer a regularly changing menu.     Oysters were super fresh. Small plates: both the cured cornish mackerel and roasted mushrooms were not full of flavours (umami) and beautifully presented. The coley maincourse was exquisite - strong bold spinach colour against the crispy skin and perfectly cooked fish... really seafood at its best. (Seafood dishes are consistently good here). perfect creme brulee ... o, and lovely chablis and gervey chambertin. am thinking of coming back already. Flowers are beautiful ... just a little gem in the city. Would highly recommend.

    I recently dined at the German Gymnasium in King’s Cross and was thoroughly impressed by its authentic German cuisine and beer selection. Housed in a beautifully restored Grade II listed building, the restaurant offers a unique and inviting atmosphere. The menu features classic dishes like schnitzel and currywurst, all prepared with genuine German flavors. The beer list is extensive, showcasing a variety of traditional German brews that perfectly complement the meals. The attentive service and vibrant ambiance made for a memorable dining experience. I highly recommend the German Gymnasium for anyone seeking an authentic taste of Germany in London.

    Great overall experience. Loved the food dishes and the creativity. My only complaint is it is really long. Maybe they should have 2 options a shorter course and the longer course. It would be nice to have an option if you don’t have 3 hours or more to spend, especially since we had a late reservation. It took @ 30 mins to get the first food item. Also I think the wine prices by the glass are higher than they need to be and the pours are small.

    Such a lovely evening! The food was just incredible, particularly the venison tartare, pork loin and beef cheek. Just amazing. Such lovely staff who were always ready to help and even treated us to a complimentary pudding for our special occasion! The Guinness was also a major highlight. Huge fun sitting near the bar upstairs and watching the cooks create everything. Can’t wait to come back again, thank you for looking after us so brilliantly!

    Staff members were amazing and attentive. The fried rice was definitely the stand out dish but all dishes and wine’s were amazing. Overall, I had a great time
