The Watermans Richmond is an all day Restaurant and Bar in the centre of town, conveniently located on an ancient cobbled street that leads down to the waterfront.Our food is the best of British ingredients, served with a nod to southern Europe, with favourite dishes ranging from scallop ravioli to fregola, veal chops and day boat fish. We also have vegetarian and vegan options as well as delicious puddings including tiramisu, poached pears and profiteroles.We have been the site of a Public house for centuries and still offer a selection of draught beers however we have an extensive wine list focusing mostly on classic wines from Europe.The Restaurant is divided into several areas: luxurious deep leather banquette seating, bar counters perfect for lunches and more casual dining and cosy fireside dining in our upstairs room. Margaux is a modern European restaurant/wine bar. Better food than the other ‘gastro’ pubs in the area. I think they have a new chef. On this latest visit, the food was good, but we waited nearly an hour between starter and main… service was patchy - some fantastic staff working really hard are let down by some of the service team. Still a good choice for quality food in a pub on the edge of the common.

Been here several times. Love the food. Love the vibe in Tooting Market. The manager / proprietor is always there, always remembers us (although our visits are not that frequent as we don't live that locally) and is super friendly. It's our venue of choice for taking friends to.
