Xiquet (chee-KETT) by Chef Danny Lledó features a sought-after tasting menu showcasing the finest products from around the world served with warm, Mediterranean hospitality. Known as one of the best fine dining restaurants in Washington DC for its modern Spanish cuisine, Xiquet has held a MICHELIN Star since 2021 and earned MICHELIN’s Sommelier of the Year Award in 2022. In the same year, AAA honored Xiquet with the travel authority’s highest rating, making it the only Five Diamond restaurant currently in the city.     The Sovereign was an excellent find for us while visiting DC! At the end of a full day we wanted a nice dinner in the Georgetown area and this place was a gem. Great food (best mussels my wife has had) and delicious drinks (awesome Belgian beer selection) made for an outstanding dinner!

    We had a lovely evening with friends at El Taller de Xiquet. Delicious octopus and other starters. Excellent paella and we wrapped up with both desserts. Chef Danny and his staff are doing a great job in this new space and the food is unbeatable.

    This last meal was quite possibly the best I have experienced at Xiquet yet. Our table loved the perfectly cooked partridge and amazing sauce on the sea bass. The festive decorations, kind staff and Spanish kings cake for dessert made for a cozy holiday evening. We are already looking forward to more celebrations at Xiquet next year.

    I’ve eaten here multiple times and the food is always excellent. The service is wonderful, professional, and attentive. But the food is stand out! It’s priced as you would expect a high-end restaurant in DC. I would recommend it to anyone. Beautiful restaurant decor as well. Great spot for lunch. Enjoy.
