With only 10 bar height chairs at the cocktail bar, the COMMIS BAR experience offers a fixed 4-course menu highlighting some the best seasonal Northern California ingredients through modern and classic cooking techniques.     Spectacular! We wanted a nice place with a view to celebrate with family our son's Navy discharge. We were just coming from the Alcatraz tour, and were pleasantly surprised to find the Waterfront not packed, but welcoming and charming! View was great, staff were attentive, and food & drinks were perfect! At the end of the evening, the waiter MADE SURE to point out an 18% gratuity was already added in (small print) which I found refreshing for servers, so I upped that! We will be back!

    Marvelous dining experience. Wine paring for the two of us was perfect and every dish was prepared to perfection. The knowledgable, gracious and attentive staff is to be commended. We were greeted warmly upon arrival which set the tone for the superior level of service received.

    After the restaurant got the remodeled done , now we enjoy the ambiance there. I love the 65 pre fix menu that each of us have our favorites set dinner. The Choi Chou mussels and the sauce are very delicious and you must try . Crab salad has good amount of crab meat and the filet mignon are so tender and good quality meat plus a bottle of Pinot noir. It was perfect meal for my family last night .
