Delicious set lunch (£44 for three courses but extra for vegetables - a ridiculous £12 for mashed potatoes - an additional table charge and service bumps up the bill). The service was good but one water glass (out of four) came with a fly in it! The dining room is elegant but there was no dress code (at least none enforced) and it was a bit cold. Overall, I would recommend - especially the consomme and duck ravioli starter which was outstanding!

We had a wonderful Festive afternoon High Tea with my two Children and really enjoyed ourselves.. It is our second visit to Savoy and the service and atmosphere is always impeccable! We were firstly greeted by our host Carinda graciously and explained our Menu in excellent detail and manner and made our experience extra special! CORE is exceptional. We've been fortunate enough to have been to a significant number of Michelin 3 stars. We both agreed this is a top 5. It's hard to add anything meaningful to the prior positive reviews. I'll add a couple of items I haven't seen much in the reviews. First, my wife is a vegetarian and CORE accommodated that beautifully. Second, the price of CORE, is very fair, particularly when compared with other 3 stars. We both had the classic menu, drank a nice bottle of Malbec, had two cocktails and some cognac. The bill was less than $1,000 US. While that is still a lot of money for a meal, it's probably the least we've paid at the 20 plus 3 stars we have now been to. Finally, we were impressed that the founder was very visible and friendly to patrons throughout the evening. That's something we are increasingly seeing less of in 3 star restaurants. It was nice to be greeted by her as we walked by the kitchen. It seems ridiculous to give a review and not talk about the food at all. It is exceptional and I have no insights that other reviewers have not already provided. This is a 3 star restaurant in every respect.

The staff greeted us kindly. Unfortunately, they couldn’t have our table ready when we arrived on time so we had to wait 10-15 mins. But we were given a nice corner table. We ordered from the fixed price menu: pumpkin soup, chicken and ham terrine, mussels, steak tartare, creme brûlée, and steamed Christmas pudding. Food was excellent on the whole. I think the mussels were a bit too creamy and didn’t need that much cream. But the quality of the mussels was very good. Jasmine tea was of excellent quality! Table wine was so, so and we should have trusted the waiter on this one. We wished we’d ordered better wine. Service was very good overall. Nice atmosphere, good quality food and tea. Cannot wait to go back and try the burger.

Amazing food from starter to dessert. We were a party of 4 and tried 4 different main courses- monkfish, venison, duck and rabbit. All were done so nicely. Great chat with the chef afterwards. The only shame is not knowing this place before and come earlier. Enjoy!
