La Palombe is a new neighbourhood bistro from restaurateur James Chiavarini (also of Il Portico) & chef patron Jake Leach (previously head chef at the three Michelin starred The Ledbury).A large wood burning grill takes center stage where the majority of the dishes are cooked over live embers. James & Jake work together every shift to serve dishes with a real sense of terroir and provenance, including our speciality of wild foods foraged ourselves. Overall the experience was outstanding. The service was welcoming and attentive. My guests and I really appreciated our very nicely positioned table. The food and wines were truly excellent. The manager and staff were a delight.

We had a fantastic night at 28-50 by night! Everything from the food and wine to the live music and ambience was perfectly curated to ensure you have a throughly enjoyable evening. I would recommend this place to anyone and cannot wait to return.

In a word, spectacular. What a wonderful find last evening. Little, cozy, neighborhood gem with a warm welcoming staff. A perfectly made martini and fantastic menu. Not like everything else. The duck was perfect, the ink tortelloni in a lobster emulsion were both divine. I’ll be back.

Oh my goodness what a find! Delicious cuisine in a very smart decor. After our dinner head chef came over to check on us which was a really lovely touch - it turns out he is not just a great cook but charming too (none of this moody chef nonsense)
