Serving contemporary French food, this much-loved independent restaurant has been going strong for over 22 years. Before booking, please note the restaurant has both downstairs and upstairs. The same menu options are available on both floors. There is no lift upstairs. Re Tasting Menu Timings: At lunch you must book before 1.45pm, and at dinner before 8.45pm. Tasting menus are not available outside of these times.If you cannot find a table, please contact the restaurant team direct as not all tables are available to book online. Please contact the restaurant with any private dining enquiries or group bookings 7+Credit card details required. No shows or cancellations less than 2 days in advance will be subject to a charge of £25 per person.KINDLY NOTE: We cannot guarantee a request for a specific table will be met. La Palombe is a new neighbourhood bistro from restaurateur James Chiavarini (also of Il Portico) & chef patron Jake Leach (previously head chef at the three Michelin starred The Ledbury).A large wood burning grill takes center stage where the majority of the dishes are cooked over live embers. James & Jake work together every shift to serve dishes with a real sense of terroir and provenance, including our speciality of wild foods foraged ourselves. Expect wild noisette venison, Wiltshire truffles (thanks to our house truffle dog Alba!), rare woodland mushrooms, and much wonderful produce from our small organic farm in Kent.The wine list is sourced entirely from independent producers, and regularly updated with a specialised focus on low intervention, natural and biodynamic wines.We are across the road to the Design Museum & Holland Park, a 10 minute walk from Kensington Olympia and a short distance to the Royal Albert Hall.

Margaux is a modern European restaurant/wine bar. The French/Italian inspired menu includes seared foie gras, house made pork terrine, porcini risotto for appetisers and seared scallops, grilled veal rib and Barolo braised beef as some of the main courses. 100 bin wine list covers a broad range of producers and grapes, with an emphasis on old world wines. If you don"t want to stretch to a bottle there are over 25 wines by the glass and carafe. The dessert menu includes a dark chocolate plate featuring cocoa in 7 textures, passion fruit crème brûlée and amaretto sponge cake and a selection of house made ice creams. The weekend brunch menu features classic such as eggs benedict and eggs royal, smoked salmon, french toast with cinnamon ice cream.

    My guests and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Margaux. The menu was diverse enough to cater to light eaters as well as those who wanted heartier fare. The drinks menu also called for Mon alcoholic selections, a good selection of wine and cider, so everyone was accommodated. The service was spot on, there when you needed them but not overly attentive to the point of interrupting conversation. The ambience was buzzy but quiet enough to speak and be heard. We will return!

    We enjoyed an outstanding dinner at the Sinabro restaurant, where every dish was not only delicious but also artfully presented. Each bite was a delightful experience, showcasing a blend of flavors that danced on our palates. The ambiance added to the charm of the evening, making it a truly memorable outing. I highly recommend giving this place a try!

    Best restaurant in Kensington. Found this gem on Google as I was looking for a nice meal with an old friend who was in town. Service was excellent with friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very nice decor and atmosphere too. The food was outstanding. We shared the monkfish and then the Cote de Beouf. Both were exceptional. Best steak I have eaten in London for many years. Desserts were as good as the mains. Will definitely return in the 2025.
