Petit Trois Le Valley, the second outpost of Chef Ludo Lefebvre's beloved bistro, opened its doors in 2018 in Sherman Oaks. This larger location channels a lavish French Brasserie, with its marble bar, banquette lined dining room, and a Chef’s counter overlooking the open kitchen. The second dining room can be reserved for larger parties and private events. Since opening, Petit Trois has garnered praise from casual foodies and revered food critics. In 2015, Petit Trois was nominated for Best New Restaurant by the James Beard Foundation and in 2019 earned the Bib Gourmand designation upon the Michelin Guide’s return to Los Angeles. Additionally, Petit Trois was featured on the late Jonathan Gold’s 101 Best Restaurants in Los Angeles list from 2015-2017 and has remained on the list since 2019 when Bill Addison & Patricia Escárcega took over.

In 2024, the original location of Petit Trois, on Highland Ave in Hollywood, celebrates 10 years as a beloved, can't miss part of LA's dining scene. Chef/Owner Ludo Lefebvre puts his spin on classic French flavors including the cult-favorite Big Mec burger, swimming in rich Bordelaise sauce, perfectly roasted Heritage chicken with compressed potatoes fried in clarified butter, a French Dip sandwich served with a version of the restaurant's onion soup for dipping, and lots more. Start with the restaurant's housemade baguette served with the creamiest French butter and pair it all with wine from the restaurant's thoughtfully curated list, which includes 16 by the glass options. With a design inspired by classic Parisian bistros, Petit Trois transports guests in its 2 dining areas as well as an outdoor patio. The dining room is also available for private events.

    It’s rare these days to eat out and have truly excellent food. My husband and I are restaurant vets, and we always say our home is the best restaurant, but today every dish and every drink was exceptional, beating our favorite spot. Quiet Sunday afternoon, good service, croque madame and eggy pancakes were perfect.

    All the appetizers were amazing. The main dishes we tried were just ok. The salmon was just ok. The lamb chops were not liked by my husband and the mushroom side was basically lacking in flavor. We usually get the mushroom side at Uovo restaurant and it is popping with flavor. This mushroom side at your restaurant was not good

    The tuna tartare was amazing! The quality of the tuna, the flavors were unexpected but they worked! The trout almond one was rich and very savory. Sarah was terrific and her recommendations were spot on!

    Puzzle is an incredible experience! I highly recommend everyone to come and live it. The chef is a genius, the food is excellent, the show is outstanding, the sound system is top-notch, and the venue is simply magical. Whether for a romantic date or a night out with friends, the DJ is also amazing!
