If you’re looking for an unforgettable Indian dining experience in London, Bahara in Brick Lane is an absolute must-visit! From the moment we stepped in, we were blown away by the stunning decor—a perfect blend of elegance and contemporary style, creating a warm and inviting ambiance. Now, let’s talk about the food. The starters were nothing short of spectacular—succulent lamb chops, tender paneer tikka, crispy, flavorful masala fries, and unforgettable dahi puri. Each dish was beautifully plated and packed with authentic, aromatic spices. The chutneys served alongside were fresh, vibrant, and the perfect complement to the starters. For the main course, we had butter chicken, garlic naan, and dal makhani, and it was truly divine. The butter chicken was rich, creamy, and perfectly balanced in flavor, while the dal makhani was slow-cooked to perfection, offering a comforting and deeply satisfying taste. The garlic naan was fresh, soft, and packed with just the right amount of flavor to scoop up every last bit of those incredible curries. The service was impeccable—attentive, friendly, and accommodating. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic dining experience. Overall, Bahara is a hidden gem in Brick Lane, serving some of the best Indian food in London with a beautiful ambiance and outstanding service. We left completely satisfied and can’t wait to return! Superb food, service and all round experience. Despite it being quiet as it was a Tuesday lunchtime, the attention to detail on the dishes and flexibility to operate slightly off menu just adds to this restaurant’s charm. A must visit for any high end Indian food connoisseurs as you won’t be disappointed.

Very good experience but expectations about the food were high. Starters were delicious and mains were not so good. Delicious deserts and wine too. I will recommend this to anyone 👍🏻

Great staff support really kind and helpful. I found from my last visit a few years ago the afternoon high Tea was not as I expected in terms of the food selection- open table doesn’t advise what’s included especially that free top ups finish at 4pm ! I found that the drinks option was limited as they only offer rose lassi and chai in the past I had a choice with many other options for the savoury selection - I found the food was good but the selection on the menu could have been more as they only offered fish pakora would have loved an onion or veg pakora Great helpful staff
