Opened in 1999, Ghandi Caf� serves authentic Anglo-Indian cuisine. Present in a quiet neighborhood, Ghandi Caf� offers an intimate space and an opportunity to escape from the hustle and bustle of NYC.     A cascade of flowers and the mural paintings really grabs up when you walk in. The service is friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The kale fritters were so crunchy delicious that we were enchanted. The grilled shrimp were juicy and spicy. All the serving bowls, platters are handcrafted and unique. The meal was so well spiced and two entrees were enough for 3 people. The mango ice cream cubes were a revelation! Def worth a return visit!

    The food at BAZI is outstanding. We make a point of having dinner at BAZI every time we come to NY from Boston. Every dish is delicious so it is difficult to chose. This trip we had the lamb ka akulfBarraeh, Paratwala kofta, Darib ka kulfa, rice and raita. Everything was Terrific. We ate on the early side-around 6:30- and the noise level was civilized with conversation easy.

    10/10 would recommend, my husband and I both got the single meal, came with samosa, meal, rice, naan and dessert. Also had the house wine which was great. LOVED THIS PLACE
