Although the food was terrific, we felt too rushed by the waitress constantly pushing us even though there were several tables open/available. She was very nice, but needed to relax/calm down. At one point she asked if she could take my plate away, to which I said with a mouth full of food,….No, I’m still eating! We had reservations for four at 6 pm but arrived early. We were accommodated right away while we waited for our 2 friends, but while waiting (outdoor patio) she kept asking if we wanted to order drinks, appetizers, or ?…to which we kept telling her No, we would like to wait for our friends who arrived on time at 6 pm. We felt pestered the entire evening. Too bad.

Second time coming here and the service and food were excellent.

We love this place, we drive from Long Beach to Dana point just to eat here. Bri’s service was amazing and timely, and as always the place was vibrant, but not noisy with welcoming staff. Will come back always.

First time diner, fantastic experience only comment on the food was the penne pasta with shrimp a bit heavy on the pesto. Other than that we really enjoyed our experience.

Mangia Bene is always excellent! Been coming 2x/month at least for thirty years: business meals, family celebrations, meetings with friends, and solo meals. Chris Karas is a wonderful owner, and all the managers are responsive and professional.
