Tagliata, an Italian chophouse, boasts an impressive menu featuring hand cut steaks, fresh rolled pastas, house made charcuterie & bounty of fresh seafood. Tagliata offers the largest wine list in Baltimore with bottles from around the world & a focus on Italian wines. We host live music in the piano lounge. Open windows overlook our majestic courtyard, which is illuminated with strung lights & features an seasonal outdoor bar.The suggested dress is business casual.     We went for my birthday last night and it was fabulous. My daughters, ages 4 and 8, love the charcuterie, and did great splitting a Caesar salad and a pasta dish. My husband and I split a steak, and with dessert, it was the perfect meal.

    I knew the portions would be large for 2-3 people but it was larger than expected! I went with a party of 3 and we all had leftovers. We got one appetizer, one pasta, and one shrimp dish. The complimentary bread was great too! Everything was very good! We ordered portobello parmigiana, penne alla vodka, and shrimp diavolo. Everything was very flavorful.

    First visit to see my stepdaughter in DC. The restaurant is a lttle off the beaten path, small and relatively intimate. There was a separate room with a large group celebrating so it was noisy. We all found the food delicious. Boys had the veal chop, my wife had the branzino, my daughter had the ravioli and I the pork tenderloin. The table shared tortellini. The wine I chose from the menu they did not have and substituted another unfamiliar to me. The waiter seemed to be having a bad day so service was average. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our meals and would recommend for the food.

    Our service was excellent. When we asked about the wine by the glass, he had the sommelier come to discuss the choices which was super helpful. Our dinners were excellent, both the appetizers and the mains. Their brodetto is one of the best dishes we’ve experienced in DC.
