Been here a few times, always pleased with the food and service. It’s a lively place but never too noisy. It does get busy so make a reservation for evenings/weekends. Excellent food and selection. Very pleasant and attentive service.

Fabulous dinner at La Bartola for my vegan son’s 25th birthday. Excellent professional service by Santana. We had the tastings menu 7 courses - fun way to experience the food. They kindly put a candle in my son’s dessert and brought him a free celebratory glass of sparkling wine without being asked. They also rescheduled our dinner with no problem to a different day with less than 24 hours notice when my son’s flight home was cancelled. All staff and ambience are very charming.

I had the portobello tacos and made them vegan. They were delicious. The table side guacamole was unreal, so flavourful! And the service was very attentive and friendly. I would absolutely go back.

We went during happy hour and the prices were right and the food was fantastic. I had the cod tacos, which were incredible along with a very yummy margarita. It was the perfect place to have a bite to eat before seeing a concert at the Opera House.
