MICHELIN RECOMMENDED.Housed in two of Vancouver’s most iconic buildings, Homer St Cafe and Bar is a contemporary restaurant set in the base of the historic Homer Building and the Beasley building in Vancouver’s Yaletown district. Classic comfort cooking takes center stage thanks to a fire engine red rotisserie that roasts all manner of proteins. It’s chicken that’s the star here: served in quarter, half or whole portions, accompanied by classic sides basted in jus. A decidedly adventurous wine and cocktail list rounds out the menu. The restaurant features two spaces that consist of an open concept kitchen “Chef’s Bar” where one can get up close and personal with the culinary team, a semi private dining room with reclaimed factory windows, and bespoke seating complemented by antique tiling.

Holiday High Tea begins December 1st. Please note high teas are served 7 days a week, lunches are not available in December only High Tea. Holiday high teas are $65 per adult $45 per child 12 & under.Please note, during the month of December we require at least 24 hrs notice of party-size change.     We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Homer Street Café & Bar. We sat at the counter and had an amazing view of some wonderful chefs creating delicious food. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We enjoyed three small plate items (tapas) and everything was cooked to perfection and served hot. Loved the wine as well. We will definitely be back when visiting Vancouver again and will recommend to friends visiting as well. Happy New Year!

    The Christmas dinner special was spectacular and don't forget to bring a full wallet!! The 5 course meal was absolutely spectacular with the tenderloin and the scallops stealing the show. Michael, our server was on the ball, funny and attentive but not overly. The rest of the staff were on point as well with everything and we had 6 people to the table with every one of them engaging and efficient with their service. The star of the show however was the general manager, Jason who made us Cafe Diabos at the table. Jason was spot on with his origin story and the history here in Vancouver. He repeated the same spectacular show at at least 6 tables and one of them asking for the event twice! It is a must visit for everyone that is out of a special evening in Vancouver. Plan for this one!
