Wonderful restaurant with attentive staff and great food. Had lunch at Victor’s before a 3:00 Broadway matinee. Although we were 20 minutes early for our reservation, they immediately seated us (beautiful restaurant). We started with coconut mojitos (delish) and a shared order of guacamole. This was followed by shrimp in a queso type sauce, pork sliders, Ropa viejo and skirt steak with rice and black beans. The final touch was a coconut gelato (refreshing). The wait staff, continually checked on us and answered all questions. We, thoroughly, enjoyed the entire experience

Authentic and delicious! Enjoyed every part of the meal. Reasonably priced. Staff were outstanding. Hope to be back for the live music one night! Definitely recommend!

Our waiter was a gem, I wish I got his name! There were two huge parties (15+) each, and we had a broadway show to catch in an hour. We were definitely feeling the pressure but the waiter had our appetizers and entrees out super timely and we were out within an hour. Service 10/10 The food was next level. My husband said it's the best restaurant food he's had in a while. I got the Ropa Vieja, friends got the Garlic Shrimp, and Churrasco, Husband got the crispy fried Steak. We all ordered well and shared! Portions are huge and all come with rice and beans (get maduros on the side, you won't regret it) We'll be back soon Havana Central. Delightful meal, novel cuisine for us, and excellent waitstaff. We shared a shrimp appetizer and a chicken rice dish which together was plenty for us. Would go here again.

This was our first time at 1958 Cuban Cuisine and I can honestly say that we will go back. The atmosphere and people were warm and welcoming. The food was excellent. We started with avocado stuffed with oxtail, ropa vieja empanadas, and shrimp in garlic sauce. These were a great start to an awesome meal. For entrees, we had ropa vieja, vaca frita, and boliche mechado. We had congri, tostones, and mixed vegetables as our sides. All of the dishes were so flavorful and the meat was tender. For dessert, we shared flan, rice pudding, and churros stuffed with chocolate. From start to finish, the meal was an A+. We can’t wait to return.
