Sugar Factory American Brasserie is bringing something SWEET to Chicago’s famed River North area, just off the mag mile. Created by a team of world-class chefs, the menu selections include everything from pancakes and sweet and savory crepes to salads, burgers, steaks and shakes, all available throughout the day. This celebrity favorite is sure to satisfy any sweet-tooth craving. Signature treats include famous Couture Pops, Smoking Goblet Cocktails, Candy-Infused Martinis, and the one-and-only King Kong Sundae. Please dine with us and let Sugar Factory deliver an unforgettable guest experience. A 20% Service Fee will be added to every check. This goes to the service staff, and no extra tip is expected. Also please beware that we have limited booth seating, there is no guarantee that you will be sat at a booth.We will have special holiday hours December 20th to Jan 2nd. We will open everyday at Noon and close at 11pm. Last seating is at 9:45pm.

Pompei, on Taylor Street, is a fast casual “counter service” restaurant. It has a long-standing history throughout the Chicago area ever since it was first established in 1909. When first opened, Pompei served only baked bread and cheese pizzas. Over the years, the restaurant has expanded its menu to include many delectable dishes that have quickly become favorites for many of the locals while remaining true to its original roots.The dine-in menu features Italian sausage, hand rolled pizzas like the Signature Pizza Pompei or the Four Cheese and Tomato, plenty of house made pasta like the gnocchi and cheese ravioli and an array of pizza strudels like the Beef Angelo and the Pompei Italiano.     Checked this place out while in town after seeing table available for Christmas on OpenTable. Outstanding service, unique milkshakes, solid burgers and soups (to combat the cold). Top marks!

    There were some scary reviews but none of that happened. Great service, great food, the chef is SO nice and brought everything to the table. Cups were always filled and we were always checked on. Dinner for 2- we shared: the focaccia, fried calamari, caprese salad, pasta tossed in the wheel of cheese, with a a side of Brussel sprouts and side of Shrimp. It was all AMAZING! Added some pics of what we remembered to photograph before eating.

    Had an amazing time went there just to celebrate a birthday and truly had an amazing time! Ice cream sundae was amazing! So many things in it! Got the $60 one (not on menu ask about it ;) ) with birthday song! Was able to share with the group. The song on the speakers, they let me pick a song that was not available and we just had a ball. Super nice people. Everything was amazing! Will recommend for sure

    This tiny place is very pleasant, especially at the far back overlooking the courtyard, but accent on the “tiny”. Glad I had reserved a table for a friend’s birthday celebration. We enjoyed our choices of pastry, though I would have liked more true cake choices (only one, dark chocolate.) the cappuccino was good. Glad we checked this place out, and it’s right next door to my favorite P.O.S.H. store. Two good places on the same visit.
