Bar Mezzana is a coastal Italian restaurant by Chef Colin Lynch at Ink Block in Boston’s South End, specializing in crudo and hand-made pasta.     Excellent food and service. The waiter was knowledgeable on suggestions for an Italian wine . Don’t miss the Brussel sprout salad or octopus- you will not be disappointed. Definitely will be back.

    I loved this restaurant. The food was delicious, and our server, Miguel, was excellent. I appreciated his investment in the restaurant he works in. Miguel answered my questions about when the restaurant was established and his love for the food and the people he worked with. My husband and I will be back.

    Our waitress seemed to be very new and nervous. She didn’t seem to want to take our order so was running around doing anything and everything to stay away. However, when we flagged down other staff to fill our water pitcher or for more bread, they did not hesitate. Food was hearty and good. Would have been nice to know that the handmade fusilli pasta that waitress recommended had an additional cost.
