A true Adam Handling restaurant in style, the menu showcases the best of British produce with a huge emphasis on sustainable practices, featuring ingredients from its own vegetable gardens and orchard. Adam’s take on a traditional British pub, The Loch & the Tyne is open 5 days a week, from Wednesday to Sunday. The pub offers a relaxed and cosy space where guests can pop in for a quick drink or retreat for the day trying out the thoughtfully-curated list of local craft beers and wine. We very much celebrate English wines, both still and sparkling.We are dog and children friendly pub. Great food, solid portions and lovely attentive staff. Food is priced well on the whole - Sunday roast you can request as many bottomless sides as required but you get a healthy amount to start. Question marks over the drinks pricing however, £5.50 for diet cokes is a bit OTT for me!

A good experience rather than a great experience. Main issue was that the menu was strikingly similar to the one we had on the last occasion many months ago. One portion of our venison was very tough but the staff responded to that in an exemplary way.. This is a great restaurant,so do keep ringing the changes on your menu.
