After 25 years of success, we changed the name in 2000 to Gilbey's, having recognised that our food had outgrown the original wine bar concept. Good, fresh and well executed British dishes in a pleasant smart pub restaurant. We enjoyed Cornish fish soup, Cornish cod with wild mushrooms and leeks and excellent Partridge with red cabbage and mash. We will definitely be back

This is the second time we have had Sunday lunch and the food was delicious, service was first class. Our waitress Aga and the team were excellent, very helpful and extremely pleasant. Will definitely recommend going there.
