Here you can start your day with a delicious breakfast (buffet and à la carte options available). Glasshouse also offers lunch and afternoon tea (booked 24 hours in advance), and opens the restaurant for dinner at 17:00.The bar stays open all day for food and drinks and closes at 11pm on weekdays and 1 am on Fridays & Saturdays. Blacklock is a modern take of the Great British chophouse nestled in the corner of a Grade II listed textiles warehouse. We take the best meat in the country from the award-winning farmer and butcher Philip Warren in Cornwall. We cook chops simply over our charcoal grill with a little help from vintage Blacklock irons and serve it all up alongside cocktails from the trolley and wine on tap in our subterranean chop mecca. On Sundays we serve a Roast almost as good as Mum's. We have limited spaces for Walk-ins, so we encourage booking in advance to avoid disappointment during busy times. THE APPEAL OF DAMON RUNYON, the New York storyteller, newspaperman and sportswriter came from his mastery, but also invention, of 1920s American slang – a mixture of the ‘louche and the lugubrious’ according to the New Yorker magazine. He would go to Lindy’s, an all-night Jewish deli on Broadway that became Mindy’s in his stories, and listen.Runyon married a down-on-her-luck Spanish countess from Madrid, 26 years his younger, who turned out to be an up-on-her-heels Mexican dancer from Tampico. When he died his ashes were taken up in a plane and sprinkled all over New York.

    Lovely Sunday lunch with lots of delicious veg. Beef was tasty and tender. My daughter’s nut roast also got the thumbs up. Delicious brownies to finish and cappuccinos, chai and mint tea. Friendly service and even the dogs sausage sliced on the diagonal for great presentation! Never regretted a meal here, brunch, dinner or Sunday lunch.

    First time coming to Leeds and I have to say that I am impressed with the city itself, the cleanliness, the vibe. Absolutely amazing! The restaurant is a stunning historical venue, making you feel as you are in an opera or a theatre salon in the 19th century. The food was an absolute delight as well as the service and the staff is so accommodating and friendly. A must go place in town, in my opinion. You will not regret it!

    This is our 2nd visit to Chef Jono’s and we were not disappointed. The value for money for the 5 course tasting menu is brilliant. We were so full we had to take the cheeseboard home! Highlights for me were the Not French Onion Soup and the Figgy Pudding, get that marketed and available to buy for Christmas, bloody gorgeous! The place itself is so cosy with enough space to enjoy your meal without noise from other tables and the waiting staff are so enthusiastic and knowledgeable in their work, really impressed! Now hunting for some Pedro Ximinez to go with my Christmas dinner. We also ended up buying a voucher for a friends Christmas present on the evening we were so happy with the experience. Well done Jono! Keep doing what you do best!

    Saturday night and was only us and one other table. Service was quick and professional and the food was delicious. Overall very happy
