The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery. The idea is to provide Londoners with a really relaxed venue for eating the finest British produce, cooked amazingly well, accompanied by excellent beer and wine at a great price.

The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. It was a delightful afternoon tea. The Park Room is elegant and beautiful with low noise level and pleasant piano music. The tea itself was comprehensive, with more than sufficient beautifully prepared scones, sandwiches and baked pastries and treats. It was beautifully and efficiently served by attentive and delightful staff.

Such a great experience from start to finish! While the cafe is small, it is decorated beautifully and though it was full by the time we finished our meal, it didn’t feel cramped or crowded at all. The service was superb, and we received a congratulatory card for our celebration. The food was also delicious: the avocado toast and eggs florentine were the popular dishes - everyone else around us got the same thing. Great portion. We also got the tea/coffee/juice option, so we had no shortage of drinks. I personally think the breakfast is a great value over the afternoon tea - we were full until dinner time! Overall, any Tiffany’s lover will enjoy this cafe. Happy I finally got to experience it!
