Adam’s take on a traditional British pub, The Loch & the Tyne is open 5 days a week, from Wednesday to Sunday. The pub offers a relaxed and cosy space where guests can pop in for a quick drink or retreat for the day trying out the thoughtfully-curated list of local craft beers and wine. We very much celebrate English wines, both still and sparkling.We are dog and children friendly pub. Amazing food at The White Oak, a nicely refurnished pub, only lacking a roaring fire on a freezing cold night. The main fish fish was sublime and the chocolate mousse was perfectly balanced and flavoured. Really friendly and attentive service topped it off; we’ll definitely be back!

This is the second time we have had Sunday lunch and the food was delicious, service was first class. Our waitress Aga and the team were excellent, very helpful and extremely pleasant. Will definitely recommend going there.

Food was delicious served by very pleasant staff. Glad we'd booked, as our table was in an area away from the main throng. The lighting may not have been as pleasing, (a little bright), but at least it was away from the screaming kids. Noise levels in the main body of the area were high.

I had a very relaxing time. The food was unique and different from afternoon tea in other hotels. I really liked the scones here. They were crispy, small, easy to eat and the jam was delicious. I was also happy that they provided high chairs for my baby. The atmosphere is casual, perfect for visiting with my kids. It was full when I visited. Everyone enjoyed chatting so I didn't have to worry if my kids were a bit loud.
