Wow! We went to The Poet for the first time last night to celebrate a significant birthday and it was fantastic. From the moment we entered the building we were made to feel very special. The food was amazing and the staff very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed every bit of the evening. I would highly recommend The Poet to anyone wanting to experience top quality restaurant food and wine.

A wonderful establishment that is warm and inviting, with fabulously cooked food served with enthusiasm by Sohrab, who looked after us in every way. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic evening in a convivial atmosphere

A wonderful tasting menu with added wine flight which complimented the food superbly. All courses were beautifully presented, tasted amazingly and service was discreet and professional. We are so lucky to have Chef James and Jodie at The Fig Tree, on our doorstep, delivering such delicious food and a fabulous experience.

Such a beautiful spot and the pub is gorgeous! We ate well and they cater for vegans. Absolutely worth a visit.

Smashing meal once again - loved the brunch menu. The smoked salmon with walnuts was divine, the crème brûlée outstanding and the overall atmosphere and service superb. Well done to all involved 👏
