Carlton Wine Room is a neighbourhood restaurant offering a well-executed, fresh, seasonal food menu, and an ever changing, diverse wine list featuring the best of Italy, Australia and the rest of the World. We offer a bar space, an upstairs restaurant dining room and three unique spaces that are can be booked for private dining perfect for special events.RESERVATIONS: are for a two hour sitting. We do not accept bookings for drinks and snacks, however we accept walk-ins for this if space permits. A surcharge of up to 1.2% applies to credit card transactions. A surcharge of 10% applies on Sundays and 15% on Public Holidays. OUTSIDE SEATING: please note this is subject to the weather and we may not be able to move your reservation inside in the case of bad weather. What an amazing experience dining at Dante is! We celebrated our son's 25th birthday there and thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our time there. The staff were extremely helpful, engaging and professional! The food and beverage options were extensive without being over the top and the helpful recommendations offered allowed us to fully enjoy the range of dishes we selected from the menu. It was a wonderful surprise to find out it's a family owned and operated establishment with many of the menu items produced in house from home grown produce! The freshness of the food, the wonderful flavours and the impeccable presentation ensured we enjoyed everything on our plates. The ambience of the venue is another highlight! There was a real buzz about the place without it being overbearing! The very large teddy bear behind our table, dressed in Christmas colours, was another highlight and talking point! It proved very popular with patrons, us included, who lined up for photos with it! It added to the fun and enjoyment of our evening at Dante. We'd highly recommend Dante to anyone looking for a great place to eat delicious food, be looked after by incredible people and enjoy a wonderful space that makes the whole experience memorable!
